Closing the gap between skills and learning.

Edplay brings together company-wide skill data and the knowledge of your in-house experts, so you can see what your workforce needs and build specific training around it.

Our Journey

We built Edplay because we've lived with the problem. After 10 years building enterprise learning platforms, we know exactly why training takes too long, costs too much, and never keeps up. We built Edplay to fix it.

The Beginning

Back in 2014, we (Thomas and Victor) started My Learning Hub in London with a simple but ambitious goal: to make enterprise learning easier, smarter, and more engaging. What began as a small Learning Management System grew into a platform with its own authoring tool, a rich content library, and even custom e-learning courses built the hard way: storyboarding, endless iterations, compliance training, data migrations, SSO setups, integrations with legacy systems... you name it, we've done it.

Building Success

Over 10 years, through plenty of ups and downs, My Learning Hub scaled to serve over 100,000 corporate learners daily. We crossed $1M ARR and generated over $5M in total sales before the company was acquired.

Why Edplay exists

We’ve spent more than a decade working in learning technologies and we keep seeing the same disconnect: manufacturing companies have fragmented systems, lack clear visibility of what their people need, and struggle to turn what they do know into the right training.

This disconnect is costly. A mistake on the floor can mean downtime, a safety incident or a quality defect that affects the bottom line.

The information you need to understand your workforce is already there. Plants hold workforce records, competency evidence, procedures and operational data. The knowledge to train people often exists too, in SOPs, work instructions and the know-how of veteran operators. What’s missing is the connection between them.

We built Edplay to make that connection.

Edplay brings together the systems you already use to build a clear picture of skill proficiency across your workforce: what each role requires, what people can do, what knowledge exists and what’s missing. Then Edplay connects those skills and gaps with approved company knowledge to build targeted training around what people actually need.

What makes Edplay different?

The right training shouldn’t start with whatever content is available. It should start with what someone actually needs to know.

Edplay distinguishes between a skill gap and a knowledge gap. If your people are below performance standards and the knowledge exists, Edplay recommends building training from it. If the knowledge doesn’t exist yet, Edplay helps you capture it from the operators who know the work best. Then you review and approve it before it becomes training.

Where we’re going

The picture doesn’t stop once training is delivered. What people learn, where they struggle and what changes across the business can all help build a clearer understanding of what your workforce needs next. So Edplay can keep connecting the gaps with the knowledge and training needed to address them.

Understand the gaps. Build the training. Learn what’s needed next.
